On a Bambi roll

.222 once again

I reached the spur a little after the four legged one, and noted he was sitting and staring down hill. I followed his gaze the deer was looking back at me with a slightly puzzled look. The cross hairs settled just behind the shoulder and the 53 grain Barnes bullet did the rest. This is now the second time I have taken a bambi out of a group of 3. Must say with freezer already full the lighter load of the smaller animal is refreshing.
