Alex Melville gets his first Bull Tahr
A cracking 400 meter neck shot tops a fine days work for Alex. Animal finally came to rest on avalanche debris after a fall and long slide. Alex was using a Sako rifle in .270 cal.
Chamois mother and offspring
The mother was shot and when I approached the fallen animal the kid sprang up from beside her. It was last summers and well able to cope by itself but never the less it brought pangs of regret.
