Red deer hind with Remington 700 in .243
Man it has been hard to get time to hunt this year! Shouldn’t complain though because it means we are doing well with the log cabin and are having a great season.
Ducking and diving between guests saw me add yet more meat to an already laden freezer in the form of a Red deer Hind. The ole Remmy .243 with 90 grn ballistic tipped Nosler projectiles mean’t it was not catch and release for the unfortunate animal.
Those bleeding German wasps had me under some stress whilst taking the meat though, but I managed to avoid being stung unlike the last time out where I accumulated 5 hits in short order
