I had been Struggling with an unknown illness for the last four weeks.  It all culminated last week in this photo shot.   I was pumped intravenously  with 10 liters of Saline solution whilst also combating near 40 degree Celsius  temperatures .

I spent six days parked up in the garage all told and I am now on a course of anti bio tics for a further week with instructions to keep out of the hills for another two weeks after the course is finished.  Bloody bad timing in the middle of the Chammy rut but hey I am still sniffing air so it can’t be all bad.  I would like to apologise yet again to those I have let down with the bad timing of this affliction but would also like to take the opportunity to sing the praises of the staff at the Nelson hospital.  I found them all very hard working and professional with great senses of humour…thank you guys .

Diagnosis was Sepsis Syndrome;

Back in action;  middle of June 2014
