April might not be the traditional month to chase the mighty Himalayan Tahr but it was the only window available to Ray Marshall from his work ,in his quest to add one to his hunting experience. The week he chose was a good one weather wise warm days, cold nights and with some afternoon mainly, mists thrown into the mix. We had to work hard for the bulls who because of the weather were sheltering in the steep scrubby faces as opposed to the open tops. The open tops were solely the domain of the female of the species and there were a lot of nannies about to be sure.
