Occasionally we dip out

The boys taking a breather after an early start to the day

The preferred venue was abandoned because of inclement weather and so plan B was pulled out of the bag.  Unfortunately strong cold winds plagued us for much of the two day hunt, not to mention snow showers!  I suppose not entirely surprising considering that we are in the month of June and trying to target deer out in the open.

Two Chamois were sighted on the evening of the first day and a hind and fawn were glassed on the second day and although a good way away were certainly available to be stalked.  We agreed if it had been a stag then it would be a different story.  Great to be out and seeing new country though and the guys provided good company.
