Gerard Denaja photographed with a buck Chamois shot at 232 meters. It was the second animal taken on the trip. The first being a very nice Doe taken at 264 meters.
We had three very good days in the mountains and Gerard who hails from New Caledonia was shocked at the very diverse weather we experience here in NZ. We had it all! Gale force winds, snow and extreme heat. Hasn’t put him off though! He is vowing to return again as soon as work permits.
