Man that was a long episode of “unwellness” which cost me a lot in terms of hunting trips. 6 weeks all told and I am still non the wiser to how it all came about. The main lesson learn’t however is the reminder that I am not bullet proof and need to take more care of my body.
I guess with all the Chamois hunting I have been doing over the years I have unknowingly/knowingly decreased by intake of water. The buggers don’t need streams and the like to get the fluids they need, often dew laded scrub provides all they require. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Take heaps of water when hunting far from natural water sources. It is too easy to do without-AND GETS EASIER when your body adapts to your lesser water intake and that’s when the trouble starts- Hard lesson learn’t!
Hei Steve,
